On the heels of an appearance at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival, including a featured solo in Movement XII of Wynton Marsalis' All Rise at Usher Hall alongside the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, G. Thomas Allen continues to bring his singular artistry to stages around the world. The historic first male winner of the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2021, Allen moves seamlessly across jazz, opera, gospel, and classical music. His performances have taken him from the Monterey Jazz Festival and BBC Proms to the operatic stage, and most recently made his Cincinnati Opera debut in LALOVAVI, in the role of Ivavi, King Cobra.

Noted collaborations with late David Baker and the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra (Duke Ellington's Sacred Concerts), acclaimed Chicago trumpeter Marquis Hill, and a contributing vocalist on two GRAMMY-nominated albums with Ricky Dillard & New G.
